Samantha Anne Carrillo (she/her/hers) is a writer and editor who manages marketing and communications for New Mexico Black Leadership Council. During the past decade, Carrillo served as managing editor and associate editor for two weekly newspapers in the Southwest. She lives in downtown Albuquerque with her husband and an army of small dogs.
