Legendary Welsh pop god and part-time Las Vegas emperor Tom Jones hits the Legends Theater at Route 66 Casino (14500 Central Ave. SW) on Friday, May 9 starting at 8 p.m. Listen in awe and wonder as the full-throated baritone works his way though 60 years’ worth of showstoppers – from “It’s Not Unusual” to “What’s New Pussycat” to “Thunderball” to “Delilah” to his radio smash cover of Prince’s “Kiss.” How much you wanna bet he breaks out his 1972 hit “The Young New Mexican Puppeteer” for us? Tickets are $99 standard admission and $169 for VIP. They’re available now through Ticketmaster.com.
