Coyote Tail Tales

Master storyteller Ramona King – a veteran of film, television and stage – heads to q-Staff Theatre (400 Broadway Blvd. SE) on Thursday, Feb. 20 for a four-night run of Coyote Tail Tales for Matchbox Theater Company. The one-woman, folktale-filled show is described as “a storyteller’s ironic journey wading through metaphorical storms, alliances, betrayal, self-discovery, and reconciliation with wild Coyote.” It starts at 7:30 p.m., Thursday through Sunday. Tickets (available at eventbrite.com) are $10 to $25.

Les Misérables

Experience an epic touring production of Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg’s Tony Award-winning musical phenomenon, Les Misérables coming to UNM’s Popejoy Hall (203 Cornell Dr.), Tuesday, Feb. 18 through Sunday, Feb. 23. Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, with a 2 p.m. matinee on Saturday and a 1 p.m. matinee on Sunday. There is an additional early show at 6:30 pm. on Sunday. Writer, actor and standup comic Brian Posehn is a funny biz icon, having appeared in countless TV shows (“Seinfeld,” “Friends,” “NewsRadio,” “Just Shoot Me,” “Mr. Show with Bob and David,” “The Sarah Silverman Program,” “Big Bang Theory,” “Lady Dynamite”). He’s also a major nerd icon, having guest starred in “The Mandalorian,” hosted the popular D&D podcast “Nerd Poker” and co-written 45 episodes of Marvel’s Deadpool comic. He’ll be at Quezada’s Comedy Club (54 Jemez Canyon Dam Rd. in Bernalillo) Friday and Saturday, Feb. 21 and 22, with shows at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. both nights.
