Hello Kitty Cafe Truck

The Hello Kitty Cafe Truck is rolling through Albuquerque. It’ll be stopping at Coronado Center (between The Container Store and Barnes & Noble) on Saturday, Feb. 8 from 10 to 7 p.m. A wide selection of Hello Kitty gifts and snacks are available for purchase. And in either a smart bit of cross promotion or a surprising coincidence, Damacios Bar & Tapas (722 Central Ave. SW) is hosting a Hello Kitty Brunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. the same day. So stock up on pink hair bows and cupcakes and head Downtown for some thematically appropriate brunch.

Agent Orange
Longtime California surf punk band Agent Orange (formed in 1979, back when punk was, ya know, punk) comes to Launchpad (618 Central Ave. SW) on Sunday, Feb. 9 from 8 to 11 p.m. for a night of loud and proud noisemaking. Locals Los Mocos and Roadside Memorial will provide the opening musical salvo. This is a 21+ event. Tickets are $25 at the door.
