Great minds meet over great beers at Science of Tap. This month’s event takes place at the National Museum of Nuclear Science (601 Eubank Blvd. SE) on Friday, January 10 starting at 5:30 p.m. This month’s topic is “Tapping Science for Game-Changing Performance and Environmental Benefits.” Award-winning nuclear engineer Dr. Sal Rodriguez shares his research showing that ample energy and a clean environment can be achieved simultaneously though smart engineering. Downtown Growers Market starts off the New Year with a winter market bringing together the best of our community’s local growers, artisans, wellness creators and food vendors. Farm-fresh eggs, local honey and winter vegetables are in ample supply, Shop from more than 50 vendors this Saturday, January 11 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at FUSION (708 First St. NW). Admission is free.

Albuquerque Little Theatre WinterFest Season Preview Gala
Be among the first to get a glimpse at Albuquerque Little Theatre’s new season as well as the bigger better subscription series at ALT’s WinterFest. Enjoy performances from eight local legends, singing songs from the upcoming musical season. There’s also catering and a cash bar.
