ALBUQUERQUE, NM – Albuquerque-based Mission Winery will open its restaurant, tasting room and bottle room on Saturday, September 14th, introducing its New Mexican-fusion food and local wine to Nob Hill. The grand opening event will begin at 11:30 am with a ribbon-cutting ceremony bringing together the community, local partners, and vendors. The restaurant will open to the public with its full menu at 4:00 pm with drinks and small bites available at noon.
Mission Winery is located in the former Zacatecas space at the northwest corner of Central and Amherst in Nob Hill. The 4,800 square foot space has been transformed into an upscale and welcoming eatery and tasting room that will pair local alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with traditional New Mexican flavors.

Highlights from the Mission Winery Tasting menu include:
- Red Chile Fried Chicken, which is paired with a Bubbly Rosé
- Mushroom Fajitas, which is paired with a 2021 Garnacha
- Lobster Roll Sliders, which is paired with a Sauvignon Blanc
- Green Chile Smash Burger, which is paired with a Zinfandel
- Chile Relleno Corn Dog, which is paired with a Pinot Gris
- Beef Wellington Corn Dog, which is paired with a Cabernet Sauvignon
“We are thrilled to bring another restaurant concept to life in Nob Hill that highlights the beauty and heritage of New Mexico,” said owner and winemaker, Jessica Beecher. “Our goal is to make wine more fun and accessible to our guests.”
Mission Winery was founded by local entrepreneurs, Jessica and Seth Beecher, who also own and operate Central Bodega across the street in Nob Hill. The Beechers are both 11th generation New Mexicans and are committed to celebrating the heritage of the state, supporting local vendors and utilizing sustainability business practices.
Mission Winery’s grapes are grown across five vineyards in the North Valley with plans to continue expanding across the Greater Albuquerque region. This year, Mission Winery is on track to produce 2,000 cases of wine. Bottles are available for purchase at the restaurant and bottle shop and at 30 shops throughout Northern New Mexico. Mission Winery’s collection spans red and whites including Garnacha, Zinfandel, Rosé and Pinot Gris.
The restaurant will be open for dinner Thursday – Tuesday at 4 p.m. and open for light bites on Saturday and Sunday beginning at noon.
