M’tucci’s Bar Roma is offering its first ever Gin Cocktail Pairing Dinner at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19 th . The five-course dinner is $99 per person and features cocktails with Beefeaters 24, Sassenach Gin, Gin Mare, Fid Street Gin, Citadelle Gin and Fords Gin.
“When we start to think about pairing food with gin, we focused on how the gin’s botanical notes can enhance the dish. A gin with a crisp, citrusy profile will brighten up lighter fare, while a gin with more robust, spicy notes complements heartier dishes. Finding that balance where both the gin and the food elevate each other is always the best part of doing any pairing dinner. The gins we decided to use for our cocktails feature a rich botanical diversity, sweet complexity, with a unique heritage, giving rise to an unparalleled truly unique experience that we believe will be an amazing new journey into the Gin world,” said M’tucci’s Restaurants Executive Chef Damien Lucero.

Welcome – Roasted pear, leek and goat cheese fritter, apple shrub gastrique paired with Ginger Apple 75
First Course – Raspberry cured Icelandic cod, paired with Violette Citrus Martini
Second Course – 14-day cured juniper braised pork shoulder paired with Rosemary Tomato Dirty Martini
Third Course – Maple glazed quail paired with House Barrel Aged Negroni
Fourth Course – Uni Gnudi. Poached lobster, paired with Basil Mango Sour
Dessert – Caramelized white chocolate and passionfruit tarte, paired with White Cacao Spritz
