All red-blooded Americans (and a few blue-blooded ones, as well) love the 4th of July. What better way to celebrate your patriotism than taking the day off work, eating hot dogs and blowing stuff up? The Albuquerque area is studded with Independence Day events from the big to the small. Rural communities, in particular, pull out all the stops for this holiday, and it’s a great time to check out small town parades from Corrales to Edgewood. Here’s a run-down of some of the red, white and blue events happening in and around Albuquerque this 4th of July!
