June 19 marks Juneteeth National Independence Day, commemorating the end of slavery in the US. The City of Albuquerque, Black Chamber of Commerce New Mexico, the Santa Fe Soul Festival and others around the state are marking the occasion with community festivities, parties, church services, a business summit and more.
