You’re welcome to shake your groove thing at any concert or music event you show up to. But did you know our state is home to a wide variety of professional dance troupes? In addition to live performances featuring everything from flamenco to belly dance, you can also go to classes that will teach you how to trip the light fantastic. Here are some of the dance-related events happening in and around Albuquerque this coming weekend. Grab a partner and get moving!

Also, happening this weekend is the New Mexico Wine Festival at Balloon Fiesta Park. New Mexico Wine Festival

The 2024 New Mexico Wine Festival pours its way into Balloon Fiesta Park this Memorial Day Weekend. Starting Saturday, May 25, from noon to 6pm, vintners from all across New Mexico shine a light on their liquid wares. Sample from over 200 Southwestern wines and get the option to purchase by the bottle or the case with special discounts. Live bands, food trucks, a fine art fair and a variety of locally produced food and drink vendors give patrons something to do between sips. The festival continues Sunday, May 26 and Monday, May 27. This is a 21+ event. Advance tickets are $30 general admission, $25 military discount and $10 for designated drivers.
