Molina Healthcare of New Mexico donated 10 cords of wood on Dec. 8 to the Kewa Pueblo Community Health Representatives Program (CHR Program) to serve families in need. A team of Molina Tribal Liaisons kicked off this distribution at Pete’s Landscaping (5200 Modesto Ave. NE), leading the way to Kewa Pueblo (Santo Domingo Pueblo).
The CHR Program also provides Kewa families with non-emergency rides to doctors and hospitals, child-seat installation and home visits to the chronically ill.
This donation of firewood is part of Molina’s commitment to protecting the overall health and well-being of all New Mexicans as colder weather approaches. The firewood will ease the burden on families in need by providing wood for heat and cooking through the winter months.
