The New Mexico Artisan Market (NMAM) is set to return this Thanksgiving weekend, Nov. 25-27, at Hotel Albuquerque at Old Town, 800 Rio Grande Blvd NW. The New Mexico Multi-Cultural Foundation, the nonprofit organization that oversees the artisan market in partnership with Heritage Hotels, will showcase high-quality handcrafted products by New Mexico’s finest artisans.
“Hotel Albuquerque is honored to bring back our New Mexico Artisan Market with 130 artisans,” said Randy Vasquez, General Manager of Hotel Albuquerque at Old Town. “Over the course of three days, our space transforms into a highly curated experience filled with locally crafted goods and we invite everyone to come shop.”
Over 100 selected local artisans will be at NMAM, allowing visitors to explore the rich arts and culture of New Mexico. Artisans who are exceptional in their creative field will be selling a mix of contemporary and traditional handcrafted styles. This year’s artisans include a range of styles, from woodworker Danny Hart to photographer Janet Maes Gagliano to owner of Southwest Sigil jewelry Emily Peck.
The New Mexico Multi-Cultural Foundation is a nonprofit that strives to promote the multiple cultures within the state of New Mexico and educate locals and visitors alike about these cultures. The tradition of connecting the community with artisans and makers is at the heart of the NMAM. The market’s mission is to support local businesses and authentically preserve the creative culture that has thrived for generations while reaching toward the future with visionary creations.

New Mexico Artisan Market will be open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, November 25; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, November 26; and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, November 27. Early-bird tickets are on sale now for $10 and will be available until October 31.
