SF Film Fest’s Full-Court Press

Organizers of the Santa Fe Film Festival are inviting professionals in the film and television industry and the New Mexico film community to submit their proposals for presentations, panels, workshops, mentoring sessions and meetups for inclusion in the upcoming 2022 Santa Fe Film Festival (Feb. 3 through 13, 2022). This year’s theme is “The Art and Science of Filmmaking.” Proposals should be “specific and illustrative of the impact of your ideas, including the research behind them.” When submitting your proposal, please be specific and provide the supporting material that will help reviewers understand your proposal topic for inclusion. Formats accepted include Meet Ups (have a group you want to get together with to discuss a particular topic), Mentoring Sessions (share your knowledge with one-on-one, 15-minute sessions for individual attendees), Panels (bring together four speakers plus a moderator to discuss a particular topic) and Presentations (have a prepared presentation, interview or conversation that fits the theme). If you are a vendor or manufacturer and would like to have demonstrations or presentations, please indicate this in your opening. To submit your proposal, please email director@santafefilmfestival.com. The deadline for consideration is December 1, 2021.

Shop and Support

The Santa Fe Film Festival is also unleashing a major fundraising campaign this holiday season. You can shop and support the festival by purchasing your fall, specialty and winter wreaths, centerpieces, tabletops trees, garland, home decor and accessories through Lynch Creek Farm. Simply go to bit.ly/SFFFWinterFundraiser and get shopping. A portion of the proceeds will go toward supporting the SFFF’s upcoming festival, programs, outreach and workshops.

The Santa Fe Film Festival has also opened its own online store. Late last month the festival unveiled the 2022 Santa Fe Film Festival Poster art. You can get the poster or the image on t-shirts, hats and more. There are other cool gifts for fans of film there as well. Check it out at bit.ly/SantaFeFilmFestivalStore.

You can also support the Santa Fe Film Festival by becoming a member. Your membership gets you a VIP gift bag at the upcoming festival and a limited edition SFFF lapel pin—along with discounts on event tickets and more. You’ll even get 10 percent off at the SFFF online store with a membership. Get your membership today for $100 on the website at santafefilmfestival.com. And be on the lookout for the full schedule of SFFF events, which will be posted later this year. (Teaser: Actor Anthony Edwards will be honored with the 2022 Lifetime Achievement Award.)
