“The Flight Attendant” (HBO Max streaming) Kaley Cuoco, searching for life after “the Big Bang Theory,” lands in this comic thriller about a party girl flight attendant who wakes up in Bangkok next to the dead body of her one night stand. Naturally, she turns crime solver to save her own skin.
“The F-Spot With Derrick Beckles” (Cartoon Network 10:30pm) Canadian comic Derrick Beckles (“The Eric Andre Show”) stars in this “reality TV focus group thriller” as a “master of focus grouping,” using his “proprietary focus talents to assemble the Ultimate Focus Team for his all important Final Focus.” If you’re familiar with “The Eric Andre Show,” you know how messed up and nonsensical this will be.

Black Beauty (Disney+ streaming anytime) Disney gives Anna Sewel’s 1877 novel its ninth movie/TV remake. Kate Winslet is the voice of Black Beauty. … It’s OK, the horse narrated the book as well.
Dance Dreams: Hot Chocolate Nutcracker (Netflix streaming) Famed choreographer Debbie Allen (Fame, “Fame”) stages a youthful, modern version of The Nutcracker Ballet. Shonda Rhimes (“Grey’s Anatomy,” “Scandal”) takes a documentary look.
“Over Christmas” (Netflix streaming) Comedian Luke Mockbridge stars in this six-episode German series about a guy who tries to go home for the holidays, only to be confronted by the brother who stole his girlfriend.
“Jeff Dunham’s Completely Unrehearsed Last-Minute Pandemic Holiday Special” (Comedy Central 6pm) The title kind of says it all. In what looks like his backyard, ventriloquist Jeff Dunham tries out some jokes on a handful of socially distanced audience members.
“Illumination Presents Minions Holiday Special” (KOB-4 7:30pm) The little yellow dudes from Despicable Me get their own Christmas special.
“Home For the Holidays With VICE” (VICE 9:30pm) VICE offers tips and tricks on what to eat, drink and make to get into the holiday spirit while social distancing.

“The Uncanny Counter” (Netflix streaming) Straight out of Korea comes this supernatural drama about a group of young people who work at a noodle shop during the day and fight demons at night. Like ya do.
“The All-Star Nickmas Spectacular Special” (Nickelodeon 7pm) Unless you’re a pre-teen Nickelodon fanatic, that “All-Star” in the title is not applicable. Here, you get holiday shenanigans with dancer/YouTuber JoJo Siwa, 13-year-old rapper That Girl Lay Lay, Lex Lumpkin from “All That” and—brace yourself—castmembers from “The Astronauts,” “Danger Force,” “Group Chat” and “Nickelodeon’s Unfiltered.” I think Santa drops by too. He’s kind of an all-star.
