Bill Marinella Casting is looking for paid extras to appear in the new FOX series “The Cleaning Lady.” The series stars Elodie Yung (“Daredevil,” The Hitman’s Bodyguard) as a Cambodian woman who comes to America for medical treatment to save her son, but when the system fails her, she becomes a “cleaning lady” for the mob. Producers are on the hunt for the following categories of background talent: kids for a birthday party, adults who can bowl, Asian families, VIP types for a Las Vegas casino, cartel bodyguards, underground fight club types, natural redheads (men and women) and real waitstaff. The series will shoot in and around Albuquerque (subbing for Las Vegas) August through September of this year. The production is “especially seeking twin infants 6 to 10 months old and single babies to portray the children of different characters.” All roles are paid, and a COVID test will be required. The open casting call takes place this Friday, July 16 from 4 to 9pm at the New Hope Baptist Church (1901 Pennsylvania St. NE).
