The Healing of the Nations

We’re not saying there’s a direct connection. But New Mexico did just legalize the use of recreational marijuana. At the same time, Launchpad (618 Central Ave. SW) is hosting a major Southwest reggae/rock concert featuring local high desert reggae legends Mondo Vibrations, The Riddims, Burque SOL and DJ Buddafunk. Surely this conjunction of feel-good cultural events is reason to celebrate. This is a live, in-person, 21-and-over concert taking place July 9. Doors open at 8pm. Tickets are $8 presale and $12 at the door. Get ’em at lauchpadrocks.com. (Devin D. O’Leary)
