Friday NM Artisan Pop Up Market at Sawmill
Artists around the country have taken a big hit this year, but the Pop Up Market at Sawmill Market (1909 Bellamah Ave NW) has created a COVID-safe shopping experience that celebrates the artisans and the creative economy in the city and around the state. If we’ve learned nothing else, buying local and creating a community is more important than ever. The market will be open every weekend through December.

I’m always looking for ways to get my kids outside, especially since we spend so much time in our house these days. Now that our first snowstorm has moved on, get out and enjoy what little sunshine we may have left. It may be one of the last nice weekends to head south about an hour to the Bosque del Apache Wildlife Refuge (1001 NM Hwy 1, San Antonio, NM) and check out the Sandhill cranes. Believe me, photos do not do it justice, especially if you can catch the cranes during sunset. The majority of the trails are open but the Visitor’s Center is closed.
