QUALIFICATIONS:
I’ve had firsthand experience working in both agriculture and conservation.
As a young farmer, I work directly with the land and see the local challenges of soil health, water use, and sustainability.
This gives me insight into how the board’s decisions affect both local agriculture and the environment.
I’m running to ensure future generations can farm and thrive here. I believe in protecting soil and water as resources that support everyone, and I hope to bring a unique perspective, and commitment to stewardship on the board
BONUS QUESTIONS:
#1: Favorite place for enchiladas, and what’s your order?
Your mom’s kitchen doesn’t count. Where do you go when you go out for red or green? As a Beer connoisseur (I also recently completed the Brewing program at CNM) I like going to Breweries that have a restaurant. Nexus has some decent Enchiladas, I’ll enjoy that Christmas and with a nice Mexican style lager or a Pale Ale.
#2: Where’s the one place you’d take a visitor to get a true, non-touristy sense of what ABQ is all about?Albuquerque (unlike some other cities here in the U.S.) is blessed to be surrounded by beautiful and diverse natural scenery such as the Mountains in the East, Bosque along the river, and the desert Mesa in the west. I think a visitor should at least see the colors of the Sandia at sunset, it’s such a beautiful on the eyes that never gets old (even for locals).
