They can experience live cultural dances from the Sky City Buffalo Ram Dancers and the Northern/Southern Dance Group. Winrock Wonderland – Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony & Holiday Stroll Market (Fri. 28, Market)

What’s Christmas without at least one trip to the mall? Winrock Town Center (2100 Louisiana Blvd. NE) kicks off its holiday shopping season with a two-day Winrock Wonderland celebration. Friday, Nov. 28 runs 2 to 6 p.m. and features a Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony and a Holiday Stroll Market stocked with local food, arts, clothing, crafts and other items from over 100 vendors. The market continues on Saturday, Nov. 29 from noon to 4 p.m. and will feature a live Nutcracker performance by New Mexico Ballet Company at 2 p.m. Admission is free.
25th Annual Rio Grande Holiday Festival (Fri. 28, Market)

The 26th Annual Rio Grande Holiday Festival features 175 artists and craftsmen, live music, festive food sampling and much more. Rio Bravo Christmas Market (Sat. 29, Market)

Rio Bravo Brewing Co. (1912 Second St. NW) gives us a taste of the “drinking and shopping” season to come with the Rio Bravo Christmas Market. On Sat. Nov. 29, between noon and 5 p.m. grab yourself a cold beer (the winter climate begs for a nice dark beer such as their Coffee Porter, O’Bravo Stout or the Wild Burque Barrel Aged) and peruse the wares of assorted local vendors spread around the brewery. There will also be live entertainment throughout the day and plenty of food and drink specials. Admission is free, the beer is not.
4th Annual Merry Little Market (Sun. 30, Market)
