Fortune Feimster – Takin’ Care of Biscuits Tour
Standup comedian, writer and actor Fortune Feimster is probably best known for her regular appearances on “The Chelsea Handler Show.” Her newest comedy special Good Fortune hit Netflix last fall. And starting in May, she’ll star alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger in the Netflix series “FUBAR.” She’s known for using her confessional comedy to bring people of all ages, backgrounds and sexual orientations together. On Thursday, April 10, the Fortune Feimster – Takin’ Care of Biscuits Tour brings this funny lady to Albuquerque’s Kiva Auditorium (401 Second St. NW). The show gets underway at 7 p.m. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster (ticketmaster.com/) for $25 to $115.
Duke City Foodie Fest 3
Hungry locals should head straight to Cliff’s Amusement Park (4800 Osuna Road NE) this Saturday and Sunday, April 12 and 13, for the third annual Duke City Foodie Fest. It’s a full-on food truck throwdown. More than 100 food trucks and vendors are on site to sell you some tasty treats, and organizers are promising plenty of kids’ activities to keep the young ones occupied. Burgers, tacos, chicken & waffles, barbecue and more are just some of the food items you can fill up on. And don’t forget to save room for dessert! Admission is free, so you’re welcome to spend more on food. The event runs 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days.
EarthFest 2025
La Montanita Food Co-Op gets Earth Day started early with its annual EarthFest celebration. On Sunday, April 13 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the environmentally conscious grocery store welcomes nonprofit organizations, performers, growers, vendors and local artisans selling upcycled, recycled and ethically-sourced art, jewelry, crafts and apparel to the Nob Hill location (3500 Central Ave. SE). Hang out, shop and learn a bit about the environment with your neighbors. Admission is free.
