March is National Women’s Month, and Flock of Moons Brewing Company (111 Harvard Dr. SE) is getting into the spirit with its monthly Luna & Poesia event. On Friday, March 7, from 7 to 9 p.m., host Don McIver showcases a chapbook full of local poetic luminaries, including Aspen Keith, Rich Boucher, Rowie Shebala and Erica Photiades. Jessica Helen Lopez, City of ABQ Poet Laureate Emerita, headlines with a reading from her new book, My Heart is a Pomegranate/Mi Corazón es una Granada. The musical feature for the evening is the “indubitable and amazing” Keith Sanchez. There is no cover charge to get in. Beer will be flowing from the taps, as always, and a food truck will be parked outside if you need to fuel up for the free verse.
