One of Albuquerque’s favorite historic theaters and concert venues invites sports maniacs and cinema aficionados alike to relive some of the chaos that unfolded on the soccer field during New Mexico United’s record-setting 2024 season. The documentary-style film Kings of Chaos premiers this Friday Jan. 17, and The Lobo Theater in Nob Hill is hosting a watch party where fans can interact with the team’s players, coaches and staff.
Kings of Chaos was filmed, edited and produced by New Mexico United and follows the club through its most successful season to date. Round up some friends, grab a bucket of popcorn or some drinks from the full bar and experience The United’s wild trip to the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Quarterfinal, their first-ever home playoff win and the team’s impressive finish at the top of the Western Conference.
Doors open at 6 p.m. and general admission tickets to the one-time 7 p.m. screening are $10. For $100 you can grab a table for four in the VIP section, which includes access to a private bar and lounge and complimentary popcorn and soda. After the show, players, coaches and staff will answer questions from the audience.
