Greg Sestero, co-star of Tommy Wiseau’s infamous 2003 movie The Room and author of The Disaster Artist, drops by Guild Cinema (3405 Central Ave. NE) to host a pair of movie screenings of the cult flick, Thursday, Jan. 30 at 6:30 and 9 p.m. Sestero will anchor film with live commentary and an after-film Q&A, answering all of your burning questions, like “Why? MANIA: the ABBA Tribute has successfully toured every continent in the world and has played over 3,000 live concerts in over 35 countries. “Get Down On It” with a trip to Route 66 Casino (14500 Central Ave. SW) to see Kool and the Gang. The funk soul brothers (well, two of them are brothers) bring their smooth dance sound to town Saturday, Feb. 1 at 8 p.m. Tickets (get ’em at Ticketmaster) are $49 to $159.
