Sandia Resort and Casino
The main event at Sandia Resort and Casino (30 Rainbow Rd. NE) this year is the Neon Paradice/Glow Year’s Eve Party, featuring DJ Jason Craig & Professor D. Admission to the party is $50 and doors open at 8 p.m. Two deluxe packages are available. The Hotel Package gets you two tickets to the party, plus a room for the night and dinner for two at the New Year’s Eve Premium Buffet — with a hefty plate of prime rib, seafood and a bunch of desserts and sides for $800. The Dine & Dance Package includes premium seating at the buffet and admission to the party for $125 per person. Reservations are required and you can grab tickets at sandiacasino.com.
The Tlur Pa Lounge, located on the main floor of the Sandia Resort, is hosting two events: one starting in the morning and another at night. The free Noon Year’s Eve Celebration, featuring musician Roberto Griego, starts at 11 a.m. and lasts until 1 p.m. New Year’s Eve at the lounge starts at 8 p.m., featuring Animated Jukebox for a $25 cover. Starting at 8 p.m., the Bien Shur restaurant on the rooftop will have free music from The Rodney Bowe Experience, and the Sandia Sportsbook Bar & Grille has DJ Way Fonky LIVE spinning jams to ring in 2025. All New Year’s events at Sandia are 21 and over.
Santa Ana Star Casino Hotel
Saturday Night Live alum Jay Moore will be doing stand-up at 7:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. at Quezada’s Comedy Club inside Santa Ana Star Casino (54 Jemez Dam Rd., Bernalillo). Party from 9 p.m. till 1 a.m. in the Vista Grande Ballroom with host “DJ Animal” Garcia and music from Carou-Soul. Tickets available at santaanastar.com.
El Dorado Hotel & Spa, Santa Fe
If you’d like to get out of Albuquerque, Casa España at the El Dorado Hotel & Spa (309 W San Francisco St., Santa Fe) is hosting a night of live music, hors d’oeuvres, raffle prizes and a champagne toast. The Agave Restaurant offers a special prix fixe New Year’s Eve menu, which includes breakfast in the morning in your hotel room.. Tickets are available at eldoradohotel.com.
Launchpad
Relive the days of ’90s punk at the Launchpad (618 Central Ave. SW) as Scared of Chaka comes home to Albuquerque. Supporting acts Get Action, Roadside Memorial and Sweet Nothin get the floor moving and DJ Riff Rat sets everything off at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available for $20 at launchpadrocks.com. The National Hispanic Cultural Center
Opera Southwest presents New Year’s with the Opera featuring tenor Clay Hilley and soprano Sara Duchovnay performing a variety of opera classics accompanied by the New Mexico Symphonic Chorus and the Albuquerque Youth Symphony. Enjoy fine dining and a champagne toast at the VIP afterparty at La Fonda del Bosque across the plaza from the Albuquerque Journal Theatre (1701 Fourth St. SW). Skidmore’s Holiday Bowl
Rock out with Albuquerque’s Traveler in Pain at Skidmore’s Holiday Bowl (7515 Lomas Blvd. NE). The music begins on the patio at 9 p.m. for $25 per person and $45 per couple. The event includes a midnight toast, a 1920s-themed costume contest, raffles and more. Tickets are available at the door or at holidaybowlabq.com.
Juno
Swing to the Burque Jazz Bandits at Juno (1501 1st St. NW) during their Roaring 20s Gala, hosted in collaboration with Duke City Swing. Dress up for a ’20s-themed New Year’s Eve celebration and eat, drink and dance the night away. Tickets are $20 at the door and available on Juno’s website. The party starts at 8 p.m. and the kitchen is open from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m..
Sister
For fans of music from the ’90s and 2000s, Sister (407 Central Ave. SW) will have your favorite pop, alternative and hip-hop videos blasting on the big screen during their Millennium Video Music Dance Party. Ten bucks gets you in the door for all the Brittney Spears, Eminem and Lady Gaga you can dream of. Tickets are available at the door and at sisterthebar.com.
Sawmill Market
Enjoy free, family-friendly fun this New Year’s Eve at Sawmill Market (1909 Bellamah Ave. NW) starting at 5 p.m., with party favors for the kids, a countdown at 7 p.m. with a non-alcoholic toast and specials throughout the market. No tickets are required for the early event.
From 10 p.m. to 1 a.m., you can get your dance on, celebrate with a toast at midnight and take advantage of discounts throughout the market. General admission is $55. M’tucci’s Restaurants
With three locations in Albuquerque and one in Rio Rancho, M’tucci’s will have special New Year’s Eve menus, themed drinks and music from RJ Perez, Cali Shaw and Michael Roscon starting Dec. 27.
