There will be a sea of black and yellow on Saturday as New Mexico United fans show up in full-force for New Mexico United’s home-opener.
The stands will be packed with cheering fans as usual, but there will also be plenty of action outside the stadium.
Here’s a quick run-down on what’s going down before the game.
All of the pregame excitement will take place in the University of New Mexico South Lot, right by the UNM soccer complex.
Pancakes with Pete
United majority owner Peter Trevisani is teaming up with Asian fusion food truck Umami Moto at 10 A.M. to sling free pancakes for devoted fans. But don’t eat too many because you’ll probably be rocking out later.
Red Light Cameras
Albuquerque’s own Red Light Cameras will be putting on a free concert at 11 A.M.
Free Swag
If free pancakes and a free show isn’t enough for you, make sure to get in the gates early for a chance to snag a free retro night flag.
Oh, Yeah….There’s Also a Game
United will face off against the Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC at 2 P.M. You can purchase tickets here (if they’re not sold out!).
