Helping hands from the City of Albuquerque have a home base from which to provide much-needed services to evacuees of the fires in Northern New Mexico. ONE Albuquerque has opened a community hub at the John Marshall Health and Social Service Center at 1500 Walter St. SE staffed by Albuquerque Community Safety responders. Year-round, the Center gives out emergency food supplies, hygiene products (including diapers), childcare and medical backup for the unhoused. They have added free Wi-Fi and Presbyterian Healthcare personnel to their roster of services for approximately 1,500 fire evacuees.
