Albuquerque police: 2 men shot at food market and 1 has died

Police in Albuquerque are investigating two fatal shootings involving at least 3 victims.

They said the first shooting occurred around 1 a.m. Sunday at a food market in the 7400 block of east Central Avenue. One man died at the scene and the other was transported to the hospital, according to police. The condition of the survivor isn’t immediately known.

Police also received reports of another shooting at approximately the same time, this time at University Boulevard and Menaul Boulevard Northeast. One victim was transported to the hospital but, according to police, is not expected to survive.
