Albuquerque Police have issued an arrest warrant for the man they believe shot four people, killing one, on Aug. 12 outside Ojos Locos Cantina in Uptown.

According to the warrant APD, 30-year-old Javier Vargas Vasquez was involved in a fight with Lawrence Anzures and Jesus Parra outside the bar. Advertisement

Witnesses say at some point during the fight Vasquez pulled out a gun shooting Anzures, Parra and a waitress. Police later discovered a fourth victim had been shot in the back as he stood in the vestibule between two sets of entrance doors.

Anzures was killed in the shooting. He was a graduate of West Mesa High School.

Vasquez is facing charges of murder and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
