M’tucci’s Restaurants, which opened its first New Mexico restaurant in 2013, plans to open its newest, M’tucci’s Bar Roma, in December of this year at the site of one of Route 66’s most iconic locations. The Italian bar format will be a departure from the first three. The food focus will be on two charcuterie stations, one in the dining room and one on the patio.

The new restaurant will have indoor and outdoor seating, and the company plans to hire approximately 75 people for its opening. John Haas, managing partner of the company, confirmed to numerous news outlets that M’tucci’s Bar Roma will occupy the former Jones Motor Company location in Nob Hill. The site had most recently been the home of Kelly’s Brew Pub.
M’tucci’s Bar Roma will be open seven days for lunch and dinner and will offer late night, full bar service and bar menu items. The menu will feature an expanded small plates dishes, a charcuterie bar, and familiar classic items ranging from pizzas to pasta and salads.
“M’tucci’s Bar Roma will offer an amazing indoor and outdoor patio experience. We are creating a new menu for this location and custom cocktails. We’ve got a few fun additions to our current program that we’re excited to expand upon at Bar Roma,” said John Haas, M’tucci’s Restaurants Managing Partner.
