Medical cannabis patients already flock to New Mexico’s PurLife dispensaries to get their Girl Scout Cookie strain, but this 4/20 the company’s patients will some real cookies to go with their green.

In an average year, Girl Scouts have no problems unloading boxes of delicious thin mints and tagalongs on family, friends and neighbors. But this isn’t any normal year and a transition to online sales left the Girl Scouts of New Mexico Trails with about 22,000 unsold boxes.

“That translates into about $100,000 in revenue that we can’t use to support our Girl Scout cookie camps,” local scouting CEO Rebecca Latham told KOB news. “Money that we rely on for our operations and our scholarships.”

To help bridge the gap several corporate sponsors, including the New Mexico United and Dion’s stepped up to buy in bulk, offering them for resale at stores and events.

With 4/20 around the corner, medical cannabis dispensary PurLife bought 2,000 boxes to give away to customers on 4/20 (today!).

This 4/20, you can help make a girl scout’s future a little brighter by buying your cannabis at PurLife. Win, win!
