At this new event, once a month, art collectors can participate in a live auction from a collective of contemporary local artists. The event is hosted by Immastar Productions and Paper Plane Branding and Marketing.
Once a month buyers from around the globe can participate in a live auction – but you’re going to need to pick up your purchase or you can pay for shipping. Visit artontherio.com to browse the virtual gallery, read about artists and the details of their pieces.
The event is being curated by lifelong creatives and soon-to-be newlyweds Jessica Gentry and Carlos Contreras, along with a stable of creative partners that you’ll recognize: Robel Taylor, Juan Certain and other friends.
“It’s a multi-modal approach to a new way of collecting art,” said Contreras, “Openings and gatherings are tricky – but people are still standing in line and otherwise living online. This aims to capture both and pair artists and businesses in a genuine way – in a way Albuquerque is well known for.”
