Sandoval theatergoers don't have far to travel to see professional performances of works by popular playwrights this season. Spring is an unusual time to have this many truly intriguing plays - we usually have to wait until fall to see big names and new plays. Perhaps it's because the theater crowd couldn't wait to get back to work after forced isolation and they are showing their best. A few are comedies, some are musicals, but all of these shows will prove to be enjoyable. Grab a few tickets and revel in the talents of our local actors and directors.
"Cabaret" by Kander & Ebb, directed by Theresa Carson
The classic musical still resonates, especially now. A bang-on, large cast production by the ambitious MTS. And "Sweeney Todd" starts on June 2!
