Then on Sunday morning, Bernalillo County Sheriff’s officials say at least two people are dead after a shooting in Albuquerque after a fight broke out at a Halloween party. They said several other victims were taken to a hospital for treatment of gunshot wounds.

Authorities said the shooting occurred around 3 a.m. Sunday and it is unclear how many shooters were involved.

These latest homicides have Albuquerque inching closer to reaching 100 homicides this year. As of October 25, there have been 85 homicide cases in the city and 89 homicide victims.
